Keep Drinking My Friends

Liver drug could benefit heavy drinkers

"A drug that reverses severe liver damage could be used to treat disease in heavy drinkers who find it impossible to give up alcohol. Scientists developed the drug after discovering a way to prevent the formation of excessive scar tissue caused by cirrhosis, hepatitis and other medical conditions.
To their surprise the drug not only slowed progression of the disease but also reversed damage to the organ........."

-Ian Sample, of The Gaurdian

Now they just need one for smoking and obesity and I am all set.

We booed then, We boo now.

Its time to cut Donovan Mcnabb some slack people. Here is why:

1: Remember booing him in the 1999 draft because we wanted Ricky Willams? That would of been great to have our franchise player hitting the bong in the middle of the huddle.

2: In his first full season as an Eagle in 2000 Donovan Mcnabb finished second in the Associated Press MVP voting (24-11) to St. Louis RB Marshall Faulk. Ohh yeah Marshall just had his number retired and is a future hall of famer.

3: You know what I can sit here and write this all out and say what a great QB he is but that is just my opinion. However Stats don't lie so here you go:

Before McNabb came to Philly we were nothing, no chance for playoffs, the idea of making it to the BIG GAME was unheard of. Ok so he has been hurt, but you try coming back after major knee surgery. So before you start hating on number 5, think about all those great times we had watching him take us to the playoffs every year. So next year will be judgment day in my opinion and I think he will be fully healthy and with a little help with a true number 1 wide reciever and a tight end there is no doubt that we will be back on top of the NFC east.
